From the hollow yet powerful bones of birds to the dense, sturdy skeletons of mammals, learners will investigate what makes these structures so effective. They'll even get a chance to design and test their own bones to see how structure impacts strength.
Hands-On Science
Wonderers will analyze real bone structures from mammals, birds, and fish, comparing their shapes, densities, and functions. They'll then design their own bones and test them for strength, exploring how different structures provide support, flexibility, and protection.
