Hands-On Science
Students will design and build their own marble roller coasters, experimenting with loops, ramps, and spirals to discover how gravity and momentum work together. They’ll test different track designs to find the fastest and most creative routes for their marbles, adding themes and artistic elements for a final ride test.
Inquiry Driven Learning
Learners will explore the forces of speed, friction, and kinetic energy as they tweak their coaster designs. They’ll measure how different slopes and surface textures impact acceleration, testing their ideas through multiple trials and peer feedback.
