The Spark #2 – Why I Started the Podcast

💬 From the Heart: Why I Hit Record

Starting a podcast was never part of the plan. But after leaving the public school system, I knew I needed a way to keep sharing—not just strategies, but stories.

Stories about students who changed my life.
Stories about teachers burned out from trying to do it all.
Stories about what actually works when we lead with curiosity and heart.

The Learning Project Podcast is where I unpack all of it—with honesty, purpose, and the belief that real change starts with conversation.

❤️ Parent Tip of the Week

When your child asks a “Why” question… don’t answer right away. Try this instead:

“Hmm… what do you think is happening here?”

That one prompt builds confidence, reasoning, and curiosity all at once.

🏗️ Help Us Build The Wonder Lab

We’re raising $500,000 to bring a permanent hands-on science space to the Temecula Valley.
Every donation brings us one step closer.

💬 From the Heart: You Are Not a “Difficult Parent” If you’ve ever walked into a school meeting with your stomach in knots, you’re not alone. If you've ever been talked over, dismissed, or made to feel like you’re the problem, I see you. You are not “too much.”You are not “being dramatic.”You are a parent advocating for your child—and that should never be treated like a threat. In this issue, ...
STEM + Heart #1 — Rebuilding With Purpose From Jenn Hunter | The Learning Project
💬 From the Heart: A Real Talk Moment After 20 years in public education, I thought I had it all figured out. I was a principal, earning a 6-figure income, leading teams, creating programs, and pushing for change. But behind the scenes, I was drowning in burnout, bureaucracy, and a system that too often silenced innovation. Walking away wasn’t easy—but it was necessary. Now, I’m rebuilding from ...
