Supportive, real-world STEM for homeschoolers, microschools—and every curious kid who loves hands-on science!
The Wonder Lab is a hands-on STEM ecosystem designed to ignite curiosity, inspire confidence, and support real-world science learning for all students.  EMPOWERING EDUCATORSÂ
 to lead with STEM
At The Learning Project, we believe that professional development should be more than just theory—it should be actionable, inspiring, and designed to make an immediate impact in the classroom. Whether you’re an educator looking for personalized coaching or a school leader ready to implement campus-wide STEM training, we provide virtual and in-person professional development to help you bring STEM to life.
We offer customized STEM professional development and coaching to meet the unique needs of educators, schools, and districts. Whether you're looking for individual coaching, hands-on workshops, or a full-school implementation plan, we’ve got flexible options designed to help you succeed.
Advocacy from the Heart
Empathy in action. Clarity in the process. Confidence in the journey.
Navigating the school system can feel overwhelming—especially when your child has unique learning needs. As a veteran educator with over 20 years of experience as a teacher, principal, and advocate, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges families face when trying to access meaningful support. I’ve also seen what’s possible when we lead with understanding, collaboration, and creativity.
Through The Learning Project, I bridge the gap between schools and families by offering coaching, tools, and customized STEM-based learning plans that highlight every child’s strengths—both at home and in the classroom.
Whether your child has an IEP, a 504 plan, or is simply not getting what they need to thrive, I’m here to help you feel confident, informed, and supported every step of the way.
BUILT ON CURIOSITY
 rooted in purpose
The Wonder lab didn't begin in a lab, it began with a question. . .Â
How do we make STEM more meaningful, more accessible and more empowering for
every kind of learner and every kind of parent-educator?.
The Wonder Lab was created to help families confidently explore the world through hands-on science—no fancy gadgets or degrees required. We believe the heart of STEM is curiosity, and that meaningful learning begins when students engage with the natural world around them. That’s why every Wonder Lab experience is grounded in authentic science content—from animal adaptations and physical forces to weather patterns, earth systems, light, sound, and more.
Whether you're a homeschooling parent, part of a micro school, or simply a family looking for real science that’s joyful and accessible, The Wonder Lab meets you where you are. Rooted in equity, play, and purpose, we provide students with a safe space to explore, wonder, and grow the STEM competencies that matter most: creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, innovation, leadership, and curiosity.

As we continue to grow, we’re building toward a physical space that brings all of this to life:
- A rotating STEM exhibit lab where hands-on science takes center stage
- A model classroom that shows what inquiry looks like in action
- A training space for homeschool families and co-op leaders to learn, create, and lead with confidence
- A Wonder Wall for kids to post questions and track their thinking
- And a community built on shared exploration, not tech intimidation
Because when students feel like they belong in science, everything changes.
And when parents feel equipped to lead, learning becomes limitless.
